KATIE FAY FRANCIS

Home Page Reel

My name is Katie (she/her/hers). I'm an actor and musician based in New York City. My recent credits include Mary Lou in Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story at Tuacahn, Mrs. Teavee in the National Tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Phoebe in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at Mason Street Warehouse, Ex-Girlfriend in Once at Northern Stage, Catherine in The Foreigner at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Cathy in Singin’ in the Rain at the Lyric Repertory Company.

I received a BFA in Acting from Utah State University’s Caine College of the Arts in Northern Utah, where I was also born and raised. As my dad has always told me, “the West runs in your blood.” And it certainly runs in mine! I’m a massive fan of hiking, my cute dogs, and camping; and with my hometown standing at an elevation of 4,534’, my lungs thrive on limited oxygen and a general lack of moisture.

I work regionally as an actor and singer, and occasionally put my violin and piano chops to use on stage as well. My better half is my wonderful husband Scott, also an actor.
